October Game Site
Hey folks! Boston presents its usual host of Changeling and Requiem this coming Saturday.
Changeling - 12-5 - come to the last Boston game before the end of the world!
Requiem - 7 - 12 - the usual madness, mayhem, and politics collide!
Game will be at MIT campus this weekend in building E-25, Whitaker College, 45 Carleton street. Directions to MIT can be found at www.mit.edu
Street parking should be available somewhere near or on campus - we recommend giving yourself a bit of time to find parking. More specific room directions below.
Game fee will be a _flat_ $5.00 (play one game or play two) since our site is free this month. Funds will be used to get a gift for the individual helping us get the site and to put some in the kitty for when we can't use MIT.
<<The building is E-25 - Whitaker College. It's 45 Carleton Street.
If you leave the red line exits, and head directly away from the Mariott Hotel, through the little benches and trees area behind the inbound T stop and onto Carleton (going straight) you'll be right in front of the building. It's a Health Sciences building.
Inside, we have two different conference rooms. They're both on the first floor.
E-119 will need some courageous people to move tables and chairs. The chairs stack, and we can make the tables stack too, sorta. the point is, right now it's laid out Ampetheater style. We will need to move the tables, then move them back at the end of the night.
E-101 is a few doors up from E-119, and not obvious from entering the building (the door is in an alcove facing away from the main entrance) This has four tables put together to be a big conference table, a coffee maker, and a water bubbler. I suggested to Andrea that we use this room for OOC and kill box, and she pointed out that it will have to be propped open to do so. She is not comfortable having more than a few people know the combos.
The main lobby is somewhat echoy, so best if people refrained from talking too much.
There
are bathrooms nearby.
