Logan Almaris may have grown up in the 'Little Ukraine' section
of Manhattan's Lower Eastside, but he now resides in the greater Boston area.
Following the death of his beloved Nanna who raised him, the young Logan was
shuffled around between distant family members and foster homes. Eventually
running away, he travelled around a great
deal, holding true to both of his Romanian and Eshu heritages. Never staying
in one place long and making few serious ties, his life has been a continual
search for something missing. That was until most recently. When word finally
reached him of the demise of his compatriot and friend Duke Rainian Paendrag
of the Duchy of Crashing Tides in White Sands, and
that Rainian's widow, Shayndel, had been named Duchess of Freedom in Apples,
he travelled to Boston to seek her out.
Holding true to a promise made long ago, Shayndel and those under her roof
will know his protection, loyalty and friendship. And thus he begins a new
life. Venturing out into the fae society around Boston, among noble and commoner
society alike. Yet his search still continues. A search to discover his heart
... his soul ... and a place to truly call 'home'. Logan was recently knighted
and sworn to Baroness Nineve Corrent.
Fae Seeming: Logan is a Eshu wilder, on the fringe of becoming grump. His features are dark and decidedly Eastern European. His eyes appear as two deep, dark, cavernous portals that seem to receed infinately. His clothes are simple, albeit with a slightly gypsy flare of his Romani ancestry. His most distinguishing garment is a hooded traveling cloak of patchwork squares in autumnal colors.
Logan's Heraldry: A shield gules, crossed swords or, a ring with
two keys or. Upon a pile or, an oak leave gules.
In heraldry, Gules (red) signifies military fortitude and magnanimity, while
Or (gold) signifies generosity. In this case, the crossed swords indicates
the bearer toward a just and generous pursuit of honor and virtue in his deeds
and defense. The maple leaf symbolizing bravery and humanity. The ring of
two keys represents guardianship, as well as a search for knowlege and love.
Quotation: "No matter where Life's journey may lead you, one
can always find their way back to the place that they call home."
