Once Asterlin's Ducal Freehold, Hammond Castle served as a brief time as one of the formal seats of the Kingdom. It is now the seat of the Summer Regent and Crown Princess, Shayndel Paendrag ni Eiluned. Known in the autumn as Hammond Castle, Caer Gwanwyn translates as the "castle of spring."
