Domain House Rules

The following actions will be taken when rules of the COC are broken:
*For the sake of space I have abbreviated some wordings of the COC used here for examples of each rule. For a full wording
of each Rule see the Tome of the Camarilla or ask the Domain Coordinator who carries a copy with her!

1. Be real first. When participating in Camarilla events or playing your Character, keep in mind that the game is just a form of entertainment….
It is essential that you do not make the mistake of thinking that a member's personality is just like the personality of the character they play.
o 1st offence = verbal warning
o 2nd offence = 2 weeks
o 3rd offence = 1 month
o 4th offence = 1 month with prestige doc and report to Regional for longer suspension

2. Be Courteous and respectful of others/Discrimination: Members are expected to be courteous and cordial, solving problems rather than creating them. When dealing with others, compliment when you can and criticize constructively or not at all…. Members will not spread false or derogatory information about other members. Members will not discriminate in any way against any other member based upon race, religion, disability, age sexual orientation, length of club membership or gender.
o 1st offence = verbal warning
o 2nd offence = 1 month
o 3rd offence = 1 month with prestige doc and report to Regional for longer suspension

3. Do Not Come into Physical Contact with others: Live action RP is talking, not fighting. Consensual contact (such as hand-shaking) is acceptable; non-consensual contact is grounds for disciplinary action.
o 1st offence = immediate suspension of 1 month
o 2nd offence = Written complaint to Regional and National for full suspension from the Camarilla

4. Do not use drugs or drink alcohol at Camarilla events: Members will not participate in Camarilla events while under the influence of mind-altering substances, including alcohol. …Members will not cause or participate in any illegal activity as defined by local, state, provincial or national law while participating in a Camarilla event.
o 1st offence = immediate suspension of 1 month
o 2nd offence = Suspension of 1 month with a recommendation for 3 additional from Regional.
o 3rd offence = Written complaint to Regional and National for full suspension from the Camarilla

5. Play by the Rules: Members will be honest in their dealings with others and in information submitted to the organization. Members may not drink blood or discuss the reality of drinking blood while participating in Camarilla events. Members will not misrepresent the Camarilla or White Wolf Publishing, Inc or their intent at any time.
o Any offence of cheating is subject to the rulings of the ST.
o Any offence of misrepresentation of WW or the Camarilla is grounds for suspension from the Camarilla.

6. Do not carry anything that may be construed as a dangerous weapon: Members will not carry weapons or realistic representations of weapons at Camarilla events. In the dark, toy guns look much the same as real ones. No props can be used if they must touch another person to be effective.
o 1st offence = Verbal warning from CC and removal of prop or weapon
o 2nd offence = Member will be asked to leave game
o 3rd offence = Suspension and written complaint sent to Regional.

7. Play Smart: When possible play inside a house or private place…
Do not take actions that can be easily misinterpreted, especially in public. …. (This rule is rather vague, but the basics are: don't scare the mundane on purpose or to cause alarm)
o 1st offence = Member will be asked to leave game
o 2nd offence = 2 week suspension
o 3rd offence = 1 month suspension and complaint sent to regional for up to an additional 3 months.

8. Know when to stop: When a storyteller, narrator, or any member calls for a time-out, all action must immediately stop. Emotions can run high in the midst of Role-play, and it is every player's responsibility to be able to stop before play gets out of hand. Any member can call a time-out for safety reasons.
o 1st offence = Verbal warning
o 2nd offence = 2 weeks to 1 month suspension
o 3rd offence = 1 month suspension w/ possibility of complaint sent to regional

9. Have fun and help others have fun: We are all members of a social organization that emphasizes community, entertainment, arts, education and service. Please be mindful and respectful of your fellow members.
(Basically don't ruin the game for everyone else by continually falling out of character during a game, or by discussing personal beliefs with others that do not agree with you just to start an argument.)
o 1st offence = verbal warning
o 2nd offence = 2 weeks
o 3rd offence = 1 month
o 4th offence = 1 month with prestige doc and report to Regional for longer suspension

All actions subject to an additional prestige dock depending on the severity of the offence.
