Known as C. to most residents of the City, this nosferatu is seldom seen far from Cardinal Dirae's side ever since his appearance in the early stages of World War II. He is known for serving the Cardinal as both his Hound and Inquisitor, and carries out his duties with fanatical loyalty. He is related to the Cardinal in some way, but the exact specifics are not known. Some claim to remember his face from long before his appearance in the 1940s, but theres no true proof one way or the other as to this. Those who approach C. find him a plesant and polite individual, but any attempt to discuss his past or personal life is coldly stonewalled. This and the air of almost palpable fanatacism surrounding him combine to leave him on the social outskirts of Vamperic society

It is widely know that Kaatje (pronounced Katie) is the wife of the Prince of Boston, Marcus Dirae, and they have been in the city of Boston together since 1632. Kaatje has, over the years, been seen at most city gatherings, and has since the city's earliest days been involved with the classical music organizations, at the universities and at the various symphonies.

Even after Marcus became Prince in 1942, she remained a slightly elusive, though now more visible, figure. She became a major player in Kindred politics from the 1950s onwards, until abruptly withdrawing from Kindred life entirely in the 1990s. Though still around the city, and still actively involved with those Kindred who know her, she no longer attends gatherings of any sort.
