- Samuel Martin, Sammy to
his friends, is an eight year old child. He, and his mother, have only recently
moved to Boston. Sam doesn't talk about his past much, but from what has been
gathered he comes from a broken, and abusive
home. His father beat his mother until she finally had enough, divorced him,
and won custody of Samuel. The day the divorce was final, the car was packed
and Samuel was taken out of school to begin a life on the run. While travelling
through another random city (NEGLECT '03) the concentration of such powerful
Glamour awoke Sam's Sluagh soul. He was drawn to the Redcap Pub Crawl and
met several other childlings there - most notably Jimmy the Great from Boston.
Upon return to the car, where his mother still slept, Sam begged his mom to
move to Boston. Tired of the running, she agreed. Sam's father has
continued to hunt them across the country. When not at gatherings of the fae
Sam is usually found wandering the halls of the Boston Public Library - many
a librarian has been more than surprised at this young child's request for
copies of obscure occult books, treaties on folk magick, or books on curses
and curse breaking. Though quiet and kind you can't help but notice that there
is something altogether wicked about this young child at times.
Fae Seeming: Wrapped in flickering shadows, Samuel is a childling sluagh. Dark of hair and eye, Samuel's pale skin looks to be that of a corpse. His lips and extremities are touched by that 'not-breathing' shade of blue and his eyes are covered in the milky white film of deaths cold grip. Though obviously a child of nightmares something very cute remains in his expression and mannerisms. Though his mortal features remain firmly planted in youth, there is the beginnings of an older understanding flickering behind those eerie eyes.
Sammy's Heraldry: A shield divided bevilled, argent a spider proper, sable
an apple argent.
Sable, or black, is the color of constancy and argent the color of sincerity.
The spider is a traditional sluagh symbol and a symbol for industry while
an apple represents freedom and peace and also more generally represents the
Kingdom of Apples.
Quotation: "Kewl." (Said with childish wonder)
- Vasily, otherwise
known as Charles Hudson, is to all appearances the last extant member of the
Barony of Crimson Light in Harvard Square. Sightings of this sluagh wilder
have been few and far between since the disappearance of Liadan Muadhnait
ap Eiluned, his housemate.
Description: Vasily is... around 5'8" or so, but his posture
and terrible slouch obscures that somewhat. He moves with a confident gait,
swinging his arms and gesturing broadly as he whispers. Vasily is also...
well, he's not a handsome boy. His skin is sallow, his eyes are sunken, and
his face bears the traces of acne-scars and home-piercings gone wrong. You
wouldn't be surprised to see him lurking outside a 7-11 with a paper cup,
if you know what I mean. His smile, though,
is wide and somewhat infectious. [OOC: Beguiling x3]
Fae Seeming: a black leather doublet, trousers, and boots, with a
grey shirt beneath. (The leather looks slightly damp, for some reason.) He
has a wallet on a chain tucked into the belt, on which you can see a painted
image of the sigil of the House of Crimson Light.
