But something lurks in the shadows.
Tourists run to and fro from Fanuel Hall to the Statehouse and spend their money
on trolley tours.
Yet they do not know at the end of the night what has watched
them as they traversed the streets.
It is a historical and vibrant city, but
still just a city....
... not everything is as it seems.
In the darkness between buildings, wearing the guises of the normal humans around
them, vampires walk.
They feed from the populace and yet shepherd it

without the flock where will the wolf hunt.
The glittering
throng, the secret shadows of court, the manipulations of decades and centuries.
All this rises in one final, glorious requiem of the damned.
